Rajinikanth teams up with Beast director Nelson Dilipkumar for Thalaivar 169? Deets inside

Superstar Rajinikanth is reportedly all set to collaborate with Beast director Nelson Dilipkumar for his next. It is said that the the movie will go on floors in summer this year. A report in Pinkvilla stated that it is a typical Nelson Dilipkumar’s film that’s “high on content with ample of quirky elements in the screenplay”. The portal quoted a source saying, “The entire team is excited to take the film on floors by April end/Early May”. It also added that the film might release in between December 2022 to February 2023. The untitled movie will be shot over a period of five to six months at multiple locations based on the COVID-19 scenario.

It will be Thalaiva’s 169th film. He was last seen in Siva’s Annaatthe. The source further said that an official announcement will be made soon with a special video. The film is produced by Sun Pictures and Anirudh Ravichander is hired for the music and background score.

Meanwhile, director Nelson is gearing up for the release of his next, Beast, that has Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde. The film is releasing on Tamil New Year that is on April.

Rajinikanth, on the other hand is also in talks with multiple directors for Thalaivar 170, which is said to be a mega project.
