Rajinikanth’s fans chant ‘Thalaivaa’ as the Annaatthe star returns to Chennai from US; watch video

Rajinikanth returned to Chennai on July 9 from the US. A video of him from the Chennai airport has taken the internet by storm. Fans went crazy seeing him and they started waving at the superstar. It was on June 19, Rajinikanth and his wife Latha were spotted at the Chennai International Airport as they were traveling to the US. He went for a health check-up to the US. He was also spotted outside the Mayo Clinic in the US along with his daughter Aishwarya Dhanush and pictures of Rajinikanth from the hospital went viral on social media.

Talking about the airport video and pictures, Rajinikanth was seen wearing a blue shirt, black cap, and a face mask as he walked towards his car. He greeted his fans who gathered at the airport entrance to have his glimpse. His fans chanted ‘Thalaivaa’ at the airport as he was making his way to his car.

On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen in Annaatthe that will be releasing this Diwali. The movie also stars Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Meena, and Khushbu Sundar in key roles. Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of a village president in Annaatthe. In May this year, he wrapped the Hyderabad schedule of the film and returned to Chennai. It is written and directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. He was last seen in AR Murugadoss directed Darbar.
