Ram Charan and Allu Arjun get together with their ‘Mega cousins’ for Secret Santa ahead of Christmas

The Allu-Konidela family from the Telugu film industry, popularly known as the ‘Mega’ family in pop culture, has been a part of the Indian showbiz for three generations now and has given over 20 actors to cinema. From Allu Ramalangiah, to his son-in-law Chiranjeevi, his brother Pawan Kalyan, and Allu Arjun and Ram Charan from the next generation, the Mega family has been a big part of what Telugu film industry is today. And recently, the ‘Mega cousins’ had a get together, to kick off the holiday season.

Taking to Instagram, Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela put up a picture of all the Mega cousins together from their Secret Santa celebrations ahead of Christmas. In the picture, Ram Charan and Upasana are accompanied by Allu Arjun and his wife Allu Sneha Reddy, Sai Dharam Tej, Niharika Konidela, Varun Tej, Allu Sirish, and many others. This current generation of the Mega family got together in Hyderabad as reportedly they were in the city attending a family function.

While the term ‘Mega’ family came from Chiranjeevi fondly being called the megastar, this current generation of the family is carrying forward that legacy very efficiently. Both Allu and Ram are big pan-India stars of today. The latter’s RRR is turning out to be a favourite in the ongoing international award season. Not just that, on the personal front too, Ram has some big news as he and wife Upasana are expecting their first child. They recently made the announcement with a cute post on social media.
