Ram Charan and Upasana make FIRST APPEARANCE with their baby as they take daughter home

The month of June became all the more special for Ram Charan as he welcomed his first baby. The actor and wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela were blessed with a daughter during the early hours of June 20, just a few days after their 11th wedding anniversary. And now, the new parents have made the first public appearance with their newborn.

On Friday, Upasana got discharged from the Apollo Hospital at around 1 PM in Hyderabad. And Ram took his wife and daughter home from there. As soon as they exited the hospital, the family was greeted by a roaring welcome by fans and media. The new parents spoke to the media and thanked everyone for their blessings and warm wishes for the family, especially their little one.

Ram and Upasana twinned in white as they came out of the hospital. But what struck out the most about them was the glow of new parenthood on their faces. The couple was beaming with joy holding their daughter in arms. The smiles on their faces spoke volumes of the joy they were experiencing.

Ram Charan addressed the media

Apart from thanking everyone, Ram also updated about the mother and daughter’s health while speaking to the media. He said, “My thanks to media, friends and family members. Like my father said, my daughter was born on June 20. Upasana has recovered well and now we are going home. My thanks to all the doctors and the staff members for taking care of us. We’re so lucky. With no complications, both are doing very well. Your prayers will never be forgotten. The blessings we received from all countries make me feel grateful. Thank you so much.”

The actor also revealed that they haven’t yet thought of a name for the baby. He informed that they will name her on the 12th or 21st day since her birth. When asked who does the baby looks like more, him or Upasana, he laughed and said his name.

Ram’s father, Megastar Chiranjeevi had made it official about the newest entry in their family. He welcomed his ‘mega princess’ with a sweet tweet. He said, “Welcome Little Mega Princess !! You have spread cheer among the Mega Family of millions on your arrival as much as you have made the blessed parents @AlwaysRamCharan & @upasanakonidela and us grandparents, Happy and Proud!!” Here’s wishing the little munchkin and everyone in the family a big congratulations.
