Rana Daggubati and his uncle Venkatesh today announced Netflix project Rana Naidu. This big announcement has sent their fans into a frenzy. The great news was shared by both Rana and Venkatesh on their respective social media handles with a stylish picture of both. In the pic, the uncle-nephew were seen wearing color-coordinated outfits and both looked dapper. In the post, Rana wrote that he “always wanted to share the screen” with his uncle Venkatesh and with Rana Naidu his dream is “finally coming true”.
Sharing the news, Rana wrote, “Always wanted to share the screen with my uncle the VICTORY V @venkateshdaggubati and my dream is finally coming true. As much as I love him off screen, in “Rana Naidu” we are going to be at each other’s throats. #RanaNaidu, coming soon on Netflix(sic)”.

For the unversed, the series is an official adaptation of the American crime drama Ray Donovan. It is backed by Sunder Aaron of Locomotive Global Media LLP. Rana Naidu will be directed by Karan Anshuman and Suparn Verma.
In a statement quoted by Hindu, Rana said, “It is completely different from what both of us have done in our careers so far. I am extremely happy to work with a crew and a platform that knows this format the best. It will be new, challenging and fun. We are looking forward to filming soon.”
Venkatesh said that he cannot wait to work with Rana and is sure that they will have a blast on sets. “I am a huge fan of Ray Donovan and the team is pulling out all the stops to ensure we do justice to it,” added Venkatesh.
Currently, Rana is grabbing the headlines for his upcoming movie Bheemla Nayak that also has Pawan Kalyan. Recently, his character poster was unveiled.
