RIP Puneeth Rajkumar: Jr NTR, Yash, Rana Daggubati, Balakrishna, Prabhudheva & others reach Kantheerava Stadium to pay respects

Puneeth Rajkumar left for heavenly abode at the age of 46. He died after suffering a cardiac arrest. Several videos online showcased that thousands of fans are standing in long queues to pay their last respects to superstar Puneeth. And now, photos of Rana Daggubati, Balakrishna, Prabhudheva have surfaced on the internet as they too reached Kantheerava Stadium to pay their final respects. Prabhudeva, who recently shared the screen space with Puneeth Rajkumar, was all teary-eyed.

Yesterday, Yash and other Kannada celebs were seen at the same studio to pay their respects. Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai also paid their final tributes to the actor. For the unversed, Puneeth Rajkumar’s mortal remains are currently at Kanteerava Studio for public viewing. His daughter has arrived from the USA and the final rites and Puneeth Rajkumar ‘s funeral will take place soon.

For the uninitiated, Kannada superstar Puneeth died on Friday, the 29th of October. The actor complained of chest pains after gymming and was later rushed to a hospital immediately. Power Star was later admitted to Vikram Hospital and was receiving treatment in the intensive care unit but despite all the efforts, he remained non-responsive. The 46-year-old actor was pronounced dead at 2:30 pm. He will be cremated with full state honours.

As per reports, the authorities have planned a definite route map for the procession. Apparently, the route includes Corporation circle – Mysuru Bank Circle – Chalukya Circle – Windsor Manor – Cauvery Junction – Sankey Road – Maramma Circle – Yeshwanthpur – Govardhan RMC Yard – Gorguntepalya – Kanteerava Studio. The authorities have requested the general public to maintain peace and decorum.
