Sai Dharam Tej Bike Accident: The actor is out of danger and there are no major injuries: Official statement

Popular Telugu actor Sai Dharam Tej yesterday met with a serious road accident on Hyderabad’s cable bridge. Tej was riding his sports bike and lost control on the bridge. He reportedly sustained injuries, however, he is out of danger and doctors are monitoring him closely.

Actors Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi, Sundeep, Niharika, Varun Tej, Vaishnav Tej and his other family members were seen rushing to the hospital. The official statement by Apollo Hospital (where he is admitted) was released recently. They claimed that he is stable and is being closely monitored.

The statement read, “Mr. Sai Dharam Tej was brought to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills, following a road traffic accident. He was intubated and put on assisted respiration at the nearest hospital and later shifted here. As of now, he is medically stable. There are no major injuries to brain, spine and major organs, based on preliminary investigations.”

“He sustained soft tissue injuries and a collar bone fracture. He is being closely monitored and further evaluation will be done, over the next 24 hours. There is no need for any immediate surgical intervention,” read the statement.

Madhapur Police cleared that the actor was wearing his helmet and was not under the influence of alcohol. One of the police officials revealed that his bike skid due to mud. Sai Dharam Tej’s uncle Allu Aravind spoke to the press and revealed that the actor has not suffered any head or spinal injuries. Allu Aravind said, “Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident at 7:30 PM on Friday. He is currently safe. I have spoken to the doctors about it. By tomorrow he will be shifted out of the ICU and will be in a position to talk to us. I am clarifying this because there are various reports. There are no head or spinal injuries and he’s perfectly safe. We will give more updates once we speak to him.”

Speaking of the actor, he is one of the popular actors down south and he entered the film with Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham. He later featured in films like Rey, Supreme, Thikka, Winner, Tej, I Love You and Prati Roju Pandage among others.
