Sai Pallavi shares why she rejected film Bhola Shankar starring Megastar Chiranjeevi

South actress Sai Pallavi is currently gearing up for the release of her film titled Love Story. The film stars Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya in key roles. The actress is promoting her upcoming film in full swing. It was recently that she attended the pre-release event of Love Story. At the event, Sai Pallavi opened up about her decision to turn down the offer to act with Megastar Chiranjeevi. The actress revealed why she decided to let the opportunity of working in the film Bhola Shankar, go away.

The pre-release event of Love Story was attended by Chiranjeevi and Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, apart from the star cast of the film. According to a report in India Today, speaking at the event, Megastar Chiranjeevi revealed he would like to work in a romantic film with Sai Pallavi. During the event, the actress went on and revealed she rejected Bhola Shankar because she is scared to act in remakes. Sai Pallavi also expressed that she would be honoured to work with the megastar.

At the event, Chiranjeevi said, “Sai Pallavi was offered to play my younger sister in Bhola Shankar. I am glad she rejected the film because I would like to do a romantic film with her. I want to do a duet with her. Her playing my younger sister would have spoiled that.”

The actress was shocked when heard what the megastar had to share. Reacting to the same, Sai Pallavi said, “I am usually scared to act in remakes, hence I said no to Bhola Shankar. Otherwise, why miss an opportunity to work with you. Wherever I go, I get asked whether I have met you. A while ago, when I met Ram Charan, I wondered when I would meet you. I will be honoured to work with you, sir.”

Talking about the film Bhola Shankar, it is the Telugu remake of the Tamil film titled Vedalam. It is directed by Meher Ramesh. Mahesh Babu had unveiled the first look of the film on Chiranjeevi’s 66th birthday.

Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya’s Love Story is scheduled to release on September 24.
