Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was recently acquitted in the Black Buck case but looks like legal trouble is still following the Nawab. The actor has now received a notice from the Interpol with regard to the Bulgaria wild boar hunting case.
As per a report in Times of India, Saif Ali Khan’s agent has been booked by the Bulgarian police in the wild boar hunting case. The agent had organized a wild boar hunting for Saif Ali Khan without permission and licenses. As per the rules of hunting in the country, foreigners are required to produce a hunting license from their own country or pass a test in Bulgaria to get a license. The Interpol has sought details on the case from the actor.
Interpol contacted the crime branch of Bandra police station who recorded the statement of the ‘Chef’ actor in this matter. It is not yet clear if the recorded statement has been forwarded to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), India’s nodal agency for the Interpol.
As reported by Indian Express, “The actor is a witness in a hunting case probed by the Bulgarian police. After the communication from the Interpol was received, the crime branch, Bandra unit, was asked to record the actor’s statement. A team of the Mumbai Crime Branch sleuths from the unit visited the actor’s suburban residence and recorded his statement.”
Saif Ali Khan has not given his statement on the subject as yet. (Also Read: ‘Sacred Games’ Trailer: Get ready for this Nawazuddin and Saif Ali Khan starrer crime thriller)
