Salaar: Jagapathi Babu looks menacing as Rajamanaar in Prabhas starrer

Salaar is one of the most-anticipated movies of Prabhas. The movie is directed by KGF fame director Prasanth Neel. The movie was trending since yesterday (August 22) as the makers shared an update with fans that the first look of Rajamanaar will be unveiled today i.e on August 23. Keeping the promise, Hombale Films introduced actor Jagapathi Babu as Rajamanaar. In the poster, he could be seen sporting a deadly look. He is playing a pivotal role in Salaar.

The film is slated to hit the theatres on April 14, 2022. Reportedly, a new release date is expected to be announced by the end of this year. Apart from Prabhas and Jagapathi Babu, the movie also stars Shruti Haasan in a lead role.

Revealing the poster of Jagapathi Babu as Rajamanaar, Hombale Films tweeted, “Introducing @IamJagguBhai as ?????????? from #Salaar(sic)”.

Salaar’s shoot started in January 2021. Actor Prabhas shared a poster of the film on Instagram featuring him. He wrote, “Today I take a leap into the world of #SALAAR Shoot commences from Jan 2021. An Indian Film by @hombalefilms @vkiragandur @prashanthneel.” KGF actor Yash also joined the puja ceremony in Hyderabad. In an interview with ANI, on the film, Prabhas had said, “I’m really excited to start the shoot of the film post the Muhurat Puja in Hyderabad and reveal my look to fans.” Prabhas recently wrapped up the latest schedule of Salaar with Shruti Haasan in Hyderabad.

Prabhas had earlier said that Salaar is a territory unexplored and he will be in a never-seen-before character. The film has some high-octane action sequences and it’s the main highlight of the film.

Bankrolled by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, it is Prashanth Neel’s debut in Telugu as director.
