Salman Khan has joined the club of actors who have lent their voice to animated films. The actor whose film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan‘ went on to become a record-breaking success, will once again be doing a Bajrangi act. Yes, the Dabangg Khan has lent his voice to the character of adult Hanuman in the animated film ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’.
Sources said, “Ruchi Narain, writer of films like ‘Hazaaron Khwahishen Aisi’, had approached Salman Khan asking him to lend his voice for this mythology based animated film and it seems that he readily agreed for it. Ruchi was also all praises for the actor’s sense of humour and the improvisation that he had done to the character.”
Sources further added that, ” Ruchi Narain had approached Salman Khan through his sister Alvira. She asked him to lend his voice to the `adult’ Hanuman in her animated feature Hanuman Da Damdaar. The Khan who is known for his love for children liked the idea propagating mythology in an entertaining way for mass consumption. He was also intrigued by the “da” in the title and responded with an enthusiastic “sure”.
Praising Salman, Ruchi added that, “He’s the kind of actor who once he gets the ball, runs with it and always scores. His improvisations had us in splits. He’d look at us and ask, “Zyada ho gaya kya?” And we’d assure him he was just great. Sometimes, in between shots, he’d croon, “Main hoon Hanuman tera”.
Ruchi has been working on ‘Hanuman Da Damdaar’ for about three years and it is slated to release by the end of this year. On the other hand Salman Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Tubelight’.
