Salman Khan’s appeal in hit and run case on June 10

Salman Khan who had been prosecuted fora 2002 hit-and-run case in which one person was killed and four others were injured by the Land Cruiser vehicle allegedly driven by Khan.He had filed an appeal,challenging a magistrate’s order invoking the charge of culpable homicide against him

Singh alleged police had favored Khan by not examining witnesses in the case in the last five years and insisted on the actor’s regular appearance.
A Mumbai sessions court will deliver its verdict on June 10 on the admissibility of an appeal filed by Bollywood actor.The 47-year-old actor was granted exemption from personal appearance on a plea by his counsel Ashok Mudargi.
