Salman Khan’s Hit And Run Case Gets Postponed

Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s court hearing which is scheduled on 27th dec has got postponed further because of his Birthday,Court have thought calling Salman to court on his birthday might lead to to law and order situation outside the court.

The court has adjourned the matter till January 30 when Khan has been directed to remain present before the court.Earlier,Social activist Santosh Daundkar moved an application before the court claiming that the Bandra police had furnished false evidence in the case and was ‘hand-in-glove’ with the accused. Daundkar, represented by advocate and former bureaucrat Abha Singh, has claimed in the application that the case has been dragged for over a decade now because the Bandra police failed to issue summons to the witnesses.

However,Salman Khan has pleaded that he was not responsible for delaying the trial in hit-and-run case and sought dismissal of the complaint.Even he also argued that the complaint filed against Salman was not maintainable under CrPC and the complainant had no locus standi in the matter.

We have to wait till Jan 30th to know the result of this Hit and Run case.
