Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ in legal trouble

Actor Salman Khan was recently shooting in Muzaffarnagar for his upcoming film ‘Sultan’. The actor was much impressed by the locals for letting them shoot without any hassles and took to Twitter to thank the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and the general population of Morna Tehsil.

But looks like the people of Muzaffarnagar are not happy with his warm gesture. They are pretty annoyed with Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar for showing Bihargarh village in Morna Tehsil as Rewari (Haryana). Therefore they have filed a complaint in Muzaffarnagar court against the superstar and the director.

‘Sultan’ that is much in news has been courting controversies since past few days. The second teaser of the film that introduced Anushka Sharma as ‘Aarfa’ and went on to gain maximum likes on Youtube, is a direct rip off of a commercial on Common Wealth Games (2010) champion Geeta Phogat.

Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Sultan’ is a story about Sultan Ali Khan a wrestler from Haryana and his lady love Aarfa. It depicts the battles that the two fought not only in the wrestling pit but also in life. Also starring Randeep Hooda in a pivotal role, the movie is an Eid release like most of Salman Khan films.
