Salute: Dulquer Salmaan unveils a new poster with a powerful message

Dulquer Salmaan who will be seen in Salute, took to his Instagram handle to share a new poster from his upcoming movie. He wrote a powerful message along with the poster. In the movie, Dulquer plays the role of a cop SI Aravind Karunakaran. Salute is directed by Rosshan Andrrews. This is the first time Dulquer will be seen in the role of a cop in Salute.

In the new poster of Salute, Dulquer can be seen surrounded by party workers during a political rally. He wrote, “Some day when all this passes, we will get back to making movies that you all want to watch. And when you do, maybe, just maybe, for those brief moments it will be like none of this ever happened. #staystrong #staysafe #weshallovercome #thistooshallpass #salute #justalittledistraction (sic).”

Apart from Dulquer, Salute also stars Diana Penty, Manoj K Jayan, Alencier Ley, Binu Pappu, Vijayakumar, and Lakshmi Gopalaswamy. The action drama is written by Bobby and Sanjay and is produced by Dulquer’s home production house Wayfarer Films. Music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan and the film is edited by Sreekar Prasad. The shooting started in February this year and the team was shooting in and around Thiruvananthapuram. It is expected to release this year.

Dulquer will also be seen in the Malayalam movie Kurup. It is helmed by Srinath. Also, he has Hanu Raghavapudi’s yet-untitled romantic period drama.
