Salute Trailer: Dulquer Salmaan starrer looks intense and promising, to release on OTT on THIS date

Dulquer Salmaan starrer Salute trailer is finally out! Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Salute will see Dulquer as a cop. It also stars Diana Penty who is making her debut in the Malayalam film industry with it. The film will have an OTT release. It is all set to premiere on Sony LIV on March 18. Salute was slated to hit the screens on January 14 this year. The investigative thriller is written by screenwriter duo Bobby-Sanjay and Dulquer’s Wayfarer Films has bankrolled it.

In the trailer, we see Dulquer being a cop goes through ups and downs in his profession. He seems to be an honest police officer but due to some reasons (not known in the trailer), he has been discharged from his duty. We can assume that there might be some serious reasons. Despite being discharged from his duty, he goes on with his investigation so that he can find peace and justice. In the trailer, we see two time zones. It shows Dulquer’s character past life where he is seen happy with his family and job and his present life, where he looks unhappy.

Dulquer was last seen in Hey Sinamika that didn’t get good reviews. Apart from acting, the actor is also bankrolling Puzhu which is his first collaboration with his father Mammootty, who is playing the lead role in the film. Reportedly, Dulquer will also mark his OTT debut. He will apparently be seen in Raj and DK’s quirky crime thriller Guns and Gulaabs.
