Samantha Akkineni seeks blessing at Tirupati Balaji Temple with her team; View pic

Samantha Akkineni, who is enjoying her sabbatical, recently visited Tirupati Balaji Temple to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. The actress took to her Instagram to share about the same. She posted a selfie with her team after visiting the temple. In the photo, one can see Samantha wearing green ethnic wear with a tilak on her forehead. Sharing the selfie, she wrote, “A team that prays together stays together (sic).”

Samantha recently enjoyed a holiday with BFF Shilpa Reddy to Goa. She constantly updated her fans and followers with some amazing photos from her jaunt. On the work front, Samantha was last seen in The Family Man 2 where she played the Sri-Lankan Tamilian woman Raji. She recently wrapped up the latest schedule of Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal in Puducherry.

Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the movie is one of the highly anticipated movies and it also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in lead roles. Aside from this movie, she also has Gunasekhar’s Shaakuntalam in her kitty. The movie is based on the mythological tale of King Dushyanta and Shakuntala, daughter of sage Vishwamitra and apsara Menaka. The film stars Dev Mohan as the male lead. Allu Arjun’s daughter Arha will be marking her acting debut as Prince Bharata in the film.

The actress was recently in the news when she dropped her surname Akkineni and changed her display name on Instagram and Twitter to simply ‘S’. Several reports started suggesting that her married life is in trouble. Meanwhile, the actress welcomed a new member to her family amid divorce rumours with actor-husband Naga Chaitanya. She took to her Instagram to share photos of her new pet dog Saasha.
