Samantha diagnosed with Myositis, Naga Chaitanya’s brother Akhil, Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR and more wish her speedy recovery

Samantha Ruth Prabhu left fans and friends in shock as she shared a big update on her health. In a viral post, the actress said she is diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune muscle disease. Ever since the Family Man, 2 star shared the news, messages have been pouring in for the Oo Antava beauty. One of the first to wish her a complete recovery was Naga Chaitanya’s half-brother Akhil Akkineni.

Akhil Akkineni wished Samantha a speedy recovery. He took to the comments section and wrote, “All the love and strength to you dear Sam (sic),” with a heart emoji.

For the unversed, Myositis is a rare condition that involves the chronic and progressive inflammation of the muscles. The symptoms of this disease include skin problems such as rashes, weakening of muscles, pain in other organs also weight loss, fatigue, and low fever, among others.

On the work front, Samantha is waiting for the release of her upcoming film, Yashoda. Helmed by director duo Hari and Harish, the film is slated to hit the theatres on November 11 in multiple languages.
