Samantha Ruth Prabhu drops a happy pic as she welcomes 2023 on a positive note: Time for newer, easier resolutions

Just a couple of days left for the New Year. As we are all set for 2023, our celebs are already extending New Year wishes for their fans. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has took to social media to wish her Insta fam. On Thursday, Sam took to her Instagram handle to share a happy picture of herself sans makeup. She apparently is in a night suit and is seen flashing her million-dollar smile in the pic. She penned a positive note alongside the image.

Sharing the pic, Samantha captioned it, “Function forward…Control what we can!!Guess it’s time for newer and easier resolutions.. ones that are kinder and gentler on ourselves.God bless Happy 2023!!”

Samantha was diagnosed with autoimmune condition called myositis. She shared the news on social media after reports of her ill health started doing the rounds. Despite her illness, she remains positive and even she promoted her movie, Yashoda where she opened up about her condition.

Recently, there were reports that suggested that she has opted out of her upcoming projects. Later, her spokesperson said the actress is taking rest at present. He further said that she is going to join the shooting of Kushi post-Sankranthi in January and after that, she will continue with her Bollywood project.

He added, “We had given dates for the Hindi movie from January. But due to the unforeseen circumstances, the shootings of the films may be delayed by about six months. So now she will only be able to participate in the shooting of her Hindi film from April or May. According to the earlier plans, the shoot for Samantha’s Bollywood film will start in January, and the dates were also allocated accordingly.”

Samantha will be seen in Shaakuntalam and Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda.
