Samantha Ruth Prabhu drops a sweet birthday wish for ex husband Naga Chaitanya’s brother Akhil Akkineni

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has a long line-up of projects and a busy work year. The actress has some interesting projects in her kitty, and is fulfilling her professional commitments. She is in the best phase of her career. It was in 2021 that Samantha parted ways with her husband, actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple announced their separation via Instagram, in a joint statement. Samantha Ruth Prabhu has now taken to her Instagram stories to wish her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya’s brother, actor Akhil Akkineni.

Akhil Akkineni, born on April 8, celebrated his birthday on Friday. He turned a year older. Taking to her Instagram stories, Samantha penned a heartfelt note, wishing her ex-brother-in-law. The actress shared a dashing photo of Akhil on her Instagram and wished him. In her note, Samantha even sent hugs to Akhil Akkineni, on his birthday. She showered love on him.

In her birthday wish, the Shakuntalam actress wrote, “Happy birthday, Akhil Akkineni! Wishing you the very best this year. I hope and pray you are blessed with everything you are looking for. God bless. (sic)”

Meanwhile, Samantha has been busy with her upcoming projects recently. She celebrated three years of her movie Majili with Naga Chaitanya. Talking about Samantha and Chay, the couple announced their separation via an official statement on Instagram, back in 2019. They shared no reasons for the split. The actors have been busy with work ever since.

On the work front, the actress has the movie Shakuntalam in her kitty. She recently announced the project and even shared the first look of Shakuntalam. Apart from that, the actress has the Pan-India movie titled Yashoda. She announced the release date of Yashoda too.
