Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently on an acting break. The actress’ social media posts are proof that she is enjoying her break to the fullest. On Sunday, Samantha took to her Instagram and shared a new reel. Samantha surprised fans with a new haircut. Well, Samantha chopped off her hair. The actress flaunted her new short hair in a video and fans are absolutely in love. Not only fans, but Samantha’s friends too showered love on her.

Hansika Motwani dropped a comment saying, “Beautiful as always.” Sophie Choudry commented, “Gorgeous girl and bestest @loicindia.” Sanya Malhotra dropped a heart eyes emoji. For the uninitiated, Samantha has taken a break to focus on her health. It was last year that the actress shared the news of her suffering from an auto-immune disease called Myositis. She has been receiving treatment for the same.

Samantha is currently on a break. She announced the same after wrapping up Raj & DK’s Citadel India. The actress had shared a picture with Raj & DK on Instagram along with the caption, “And it’s a wrap on #CitadelIndia A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming. @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never giving up on me. I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud. Thank you for the role of a lifetime… i.e. until you write me the next.”

Post announcing acting break, Samantha has been sharing pictures and keeping fans updated about her life.

On the work front, apart from Citadel India with Varun Dhawan, Samantha also has Kushi with Vijay Deverakonda. The Shiva Nirvana directorial is slated to release on 1 September 2023.
