Samantha Ruth Prabhu receives a warm welcome as she returns to Kushi sets, director calls her ‘Fighter’

Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who opened up about her myositis diagnosis some time ago, has resumed work on her movie Kushi. And, the actress received a warm welcome from the film crew upon her return. She looked happiest in the photos shared by Kushi director Shiva Nirvana. Samantha was clicked cutting a massive chocolate cake too.

Kushi director calls Samantha ‘Fighter’

Taking to his Twitter handle, Kushi director Shiva Nirvana shared a few photos from the celebration on the sets as Samantha Ruth Prabhu returned. He dropped the photos and went on to call the actress ‘The Fighter’. The director shared the photos and affirmed “Everything is going to be beautiful“.

Talking about the photos, Samantha is clicked cutting the massive chocolate cake. She is clicked standing next to director Shiva Nirvana and Vijay Deverakonda, her Kushi co-star. The actress looked happiest and was clicked in all smiles.

Sharing the photos, Nirvana tweeted, “The Fighter @Samanthaprabhu2 is back to #Kushi sets @TheDeverakonda @MythriOfficial @HeshamAWMusic musical Everything is going to be beautiful.”

Speaking about Kushi, the movie marks the second collaboration of Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda after the movie, Mahanati. The team of Kushi finished the first schedule of the film in Kashmir with Vijay, until the shoot came to a standstill after Samantha opened up about her myositis diagnosis.

Meanwhile, it was only recently when Samantha dropped a photo of her with Raj and DK. She was clicked returning with her Citadel co-star Varun Dhawan and the filmmaker duo.

On the work front, the actress also has Raj and DK’s Citadel India. She is set to feature opposite Varun Dhawan in the movie. Samantha also the movie Shaakuntalam, scheduled to release on April 14.
