Samantha’s father Joseph Prabhu REACTS to her split with Naga Chaitanya

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni have been in the news since their separation announcement. Their split came as a shocker to their fans. The couple decided to end their marriage after four years and they took to their respective social media handles to announce the same. We earlier reported Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna’s reaction. He took to his Twitter account to write the following. “With a heavy heart let me say this! Whatever happened between Sam and Chay is very unfortunate. What happens between a wife and husband is very personal. Sam and Chay, both are dear to me. My family will always cherish the moments spent with Sam and she will always be dear to us. May God bless them both with strength.”

And now, we have learned that Samantha’s father Joseph Prabhu has also reacted to their split. As per a news portal, he stated that his mind has gone blank ever since he learned about Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s separation. Joseph Prabhu also apparently stated that he hoped that things would soon get better and he had even tried to convince Samantha to rethink her decision.

For the unversed, in a heartbreaking social media post, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Akkineni had shared the same note to announce their breakup from each other. The note read, “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thank you for your support.”

The rumours of their separation started when Samantha Akkineni changed her name on social media handles to simple S. They both were avoiding the questions related to the divorce all this while and finally announced it recently.
