Sanjay Dutt completes dubbing for KGF 2, says ‘Adheera is back in action’

On Tuesday, December 7th, Sanjay Dutt took to his social media and announced that he has finally completed the dubbing of his much-anticipated period drama film ‘KGF: Chapter 2.’ In the film, he will be seen playing a character called Adheera.

The ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ actor shared the photos from his dubbing session to announce a wrap and captioned it as: “Adheera is back in action! The dubbing sessions are done for #KGFChapter2 and is on its way to theaters near you on 14th April 2022!”

Sanjay Dutt’s first look as Adheera has already got an exciting response from the audience. The film’s massive and intense look has set high expectations. It also marks the southern debut of Dutt.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ features Yash as the lead actor and Srinidhi Shetty as the leading lady. Sanjay Dutt will be seen as the main antagonist, while Raveena Tandon will be seen in an important role. The second installment of the two-part series is a sequel to the 2018 film ‘K.G.F: Chapter 1.’

It is the most expensive Kannada film with a budget of ₹100 crores. KGF 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 April 2022 in Kannada along with the dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’ which premiered on 13 August 2021 on Disney+ Hotstar and featured Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Next, he will be seen in the historical epic action drama film ‘Prithviraj’ along with Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar, and he also has ‘Shamshera’ with Ranbir Kapoor, and, ‘The Good Maharaja.’
