Satish Kaushik to return to direction with a black-comedy biopic

Actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik is all set to make a comeback to direction with a black-comedy biopic based on a man from Uttar Pradesh, who was declared dead by the government.

The director states that the movie is currently in the scripting stage and will probably go on the floors by the year end. His movie is about this man, Lal Bihari, who was declared dead by the Government. He says that he had bought the rights to this true story way back in 2004-05, but during those days, not many biopics were made, so he thought this would be the ideal time to make a biopic.

Satish Kaushik last directed the movie ‘Gang of Ghosts’ in the year 2014 which tanked at the box office. We wish him luck for his untitled next.
