Shah Rukh Khan will be receiving an invitation from former Australian cricketer and fast bowler Brett Lee for the screening of latter’s debut film. Yes, the cricketer is all set to debut on the big screen with a film called ‘UNindian’ that will be directed by Anupam Chopra, an Australia based director.

The film was delayed by a year, it will finally be releasing on Aug 5 this year. Lee is a huge fan of King Khan and wants him to grace his debut screening.

But wait, it’s not just SRK who is on the elite list of invitees. Other dignitaries like Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar are also to be invited.

The movie ‘UNindian’ also features Indian actress Tannishtha Chatterjee (of ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ fame) in the lead roles and also talented actors Gulshan Grover and Supriya Pathak will be supporting the cast.

The film revolves around the love affair between Australian teacher Will played by Lee and Indian single mother Meera played by Chatterjee, whose family is not ready for the unlikely match. The film is produced by Anupam Chopra, Nikita Thakur and Lisa Duff and is the first production of the newly founded Australia India Film Fund (AIFF) and Screen Australia.
