Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut walk down the ’90s’ era for a song in ‘Rangoon’?

The pairing of Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut can be easily counted among the most eagerly awaited on-screen pairs to hit the silver screens this year. Both of them are shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film ‘Rangoon‘ and are all set to surprise their fans with a dance number which is assured to make everyone nostalgic taking them back to the period of 90s.

Apparently, one of the songs from movie ‘Rangoon’ has been shot on top of a train similarly like the classic track ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ from movie ‘Dil Se’ which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Malaika Arora Khan. Shahid and Kangana would be seen in this track which is also choreographed by Farah Khan.

According to a tabloid, sources have said, “It was Vishal and Farah’s idea to set the song on a train. It spans a day and night,“ informs a source, adding that Kangana, who plays a screen diva from the ’40s, Julia, will be seen in a glamorous dress, shaking a leg. Shahid, on the other hand, as a soldier, sports a rugged look and doesn’t get to bust out any moves.”

The shooting of this song has taken place at a studio in Madh Island and some of the portions have also been canned in Arunachal Pradesh. “It was filmed over four days, the actors had rehearsed for a week before facing the camera,“ added the source.

Few days ago, Shahid Kapoor had shared on his Twitter account that he has begun the final leg of shooting of ‘Rangoon’. So, it would be damn interesting to see this beautiful pair dancing on the roof of a train. Hope it matches up to the magic of the earlier cult number as well.

‘Rangoon’ also stars Saif Ali Khan and is slated to release on September 30, 2016.
