Veteran actor Kamal Haasan tested positive for COVID-19 recently after he returned from his trip to the US. He informed his well-wishers and fans that he has contracted the virus. The actor made a tweet on his Twitter handle and mentioned that he is hospitalised in Chennai. Haasan even spoke about the pandemic in his tweet and urged everyone to take proper precautions. Kamal Haasan’s daughter, actor Shruti Haasan made a tweet and shared an update on her father’s health.
Shruti Haasan tweeted that Kamal Haasan is recovering well. She even thanked well-wishers for their wishes and prayers. Shruti mentioned that the veteran actor is looking forward to interacting with fans, soon.
She tweeted, “Thank you for all your wishes and prayers for my father’s health. He is recovering well and is looking forward to interacting with all of you soon (sic).”

On November 22, Kamal Haasan made a tweet, informing everyone about his COVID results. He tweeted in Tamil and wrote, “After my return from the US, I had a slight cough. When I got tested, my Covid-19 results turned out to be positive. I have been quarantined at a hospital in Chennai. People should realise that Covid-19 hasn’t gone away and must take utmost precaution (sic).”
Meanwhile, superstar Rajinikanth also inquired about Kamal Haasan’s health. As per reports, the superstar called up Haasan and wished him a speedy recovery.
