Shruti Haasan to star opposite Chiranjeevi in Mega154, megastar says the actress brings ‘Woman Power’ to the film

Actress Shruti Haasan will be sharing the same screen space with megastar Chiranjeevi in Mega154. She is playing the female lead. On International Women’s Day (March 8), the film’s production house Mythri Movie Makers welcomed her on board. They wrote on social media, “What better day than #WomensDay to announce the big news! Welcoming #Mega154 Maguva, the gorgeous & talented @shrutihaasan on board for #Mega154.”

Chiranjeevi also took to his Twitter handle to welcome Shruti. He posted a picture with the actress. Both were dressed in black and the diva was seen holding a bouquet given by her co-star. He tweeted, “On this Women’s Day, delighted to Welcome you on board @shrutihaasan. You bring Woman Power to #Mega154.”

Mega154 is Shruti’s first movie with Chiranjeevi. It marks her second collaboration with Mythri Movie Makers after NBK107.

It is said to be an action entertainer and is currently in the initial stage of production. KS Ravindra will helm the film and Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar are backing it in association with GK Mohan. Music of Mega154 will given by Devi Sri Prasad, while Arthur A Wilson is doingthe cinematography. Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy have written the screenplay.

Shruti was last seen in the web series Bestseller on Amazon Prime Video for which she was raved. She will be seen in Salaar with Prabhas. While Chiranjeevi has Bholaa Shankar and Acharya in his kitty.
