Sonam Kapoor: Anil Kapoor to launch ‘Mere Papa’ song by Tulsi and Khushali Kumar

Sonam Kapoor and father Anil Kapoor will be launching ‘Mere Papa’ song. It is sung by Gulshan Kumar’s daughters Tulsi and Khushali Kumar. Tulsi Kumar had sung the song earlier at the show ‘Suron Ke Rang’ held in 2015 as a tribute to her father the late Gulshan Kumar.

The video song has both the sister’s Tulsi and Khushali in it. The song is sung by Tulsi with lyrics penned by Manoj Muntashir.

Speaking about the song Tulsi said, “I was my papa’s favourite and most pampered child. When I went to the studio to record the song, I got extremely emotional and just couldn’t hold myself. But I guess it was my father and his blessings that gave me the strength to record this song so beautifully. Ever since the song was performed at the show, I received a lot of fan mail where everyone showered their love for this song as it struck an emotional chord with all listeners.”

She further added, “The biggest compliment came from singer Sonu Nigam (who I really look upto) that this is by far the best rendered song by me and it made him super emotional. My father wanted to see me become a singer and today where I am is because of him. ‘Mere Papa’ is my tribute to him.”
