Sonu Nigam’s sweet meet with Sarabjit’s sister, Dalbir Kaur

Singer Sonu Nigam had a special visitor at his house just recently. Real life Sarabjit’s sister, Dalbir Kaur had expressed a desire to meet the singer.

And her desire got fulfilled when she got an opportunity to meet her favourite singer Sonu Nigam at his place recently. Sonu had lent support to her free Sarabjit Campaign in 2005, but had forgotten about the over decade-old incident. Dalbir had to remind him about the incident and even made the singer speak to Sarabjit’s daughter on phone, as she too is a fan of the singer.

The movie ‘Sarbjit’ based on the life of Sarabjit Singh earned acclaim and Dalbir was all praises for reel life ‘Sarbjit’ actor Randeep Hooda and thought he was just perfect for the role. Whereas Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played the reel life ‘Dalbir Kaur’ in the movie and Dalbir feels that Ash has done full justice to the part and she is an exceptional actress.
