South actor Sundeep Kishan offers to help children who have lost their families to Covid

South star Sundeep Kishan has come forward to help children who have lost their families due to Covid-19. The massive second wave of Covid-19 has devastated big cities and states like Delhi, Maharashtra, Karnataka, West Bengal and others. Every day, we see celebs putting up SOS messages on social media asking for ICU beds, oxygen cylinders, blood, etc. The fatality rate has also increased. Actors like Sonu Sood, Bhumi Pednekar, Priyanka Chopra, and others have turned messiah once again for the affected.

Maanagaram actor Sundeep Kishan shared a note on social media as he wrote, “If you know of any children who unfortunately lost their families due to COVID during these challenging times.. Please pass on their information to the email ID mentioned below.. My team & I will do our best within our capacity to take care of as many children’s food and education for the next couple of years… These are testing times and it’s very important to stand by each other as Human Beings first.. stay home, stay safe and please try to do whatever you can to help the people around you. Please send the details to sundeepkishancovidhelp@gmail.com (sic).”

This is indeed a great gesture that can be expected from a good samaritan, isn’t it?

Music composer Thaman responded to his tweet as he wrote, “I am also with U. Will take the responsibility of their education dear brother let me know will be ur partner in this. Will add my beat to your heart (sic).”

Shruti Haasan has also come forward to help children in this crisis. Taking to her Instagram handle, she shared a child helpline number and urged fans to dial 1098.

Earlier, Sonu Sood had also appealed to the government to make education free for children who have lost their parents to the Covid-19 pandemic.
