RRR director SS Rajamouli shared a photo of him with Oscar-winning music producer of song Naatu Naatu, MM Keeravani as he got honoured with a Padma Shri award. He showered praise on the music producer and lauded him. The filmmaker expressed that he is proud of MM Keeravani and called him a ‘big brother’. Taking to his Instagram, the RRR director shared the photo of him, with his ‘peddanna’ and wrote, “So proud of my Peddanna…!!!” In the picture, Rajamouli and Keeravani were clicked flashing smiles. They posed for the photo, seemingly after the grand ceremony.
In the comments section, fans and followers of Rajamouli heaped praise on Keeravani and him. One user said, “Proud of you both,” while another user commented, “Even we are proud to have him in Tollywood sir!” “Proud of you Rajamouli sir and MM keeravani Sir,” a third user said in the comments.
Earlier, after MM Keeravani bagged the Oscars award for the RRR song Naatu Naatu, the filmmaker had shared a photo of them. In the photo, Keeravani was seen holding the Oscar award in his hand and posing with the RRR director. He had shared the photos with a few heart filled faces emojis.
MM Keeravani composed song Naatu Naatu, from the film RRR, also bagged a Golden Globes award. Speaking of the Oscars 2023, while receiving the award, in his acceptance speech, the Naatu Naatu composer said, “There was only one wish on my mind…RRR has to win …the pride of every Indian…and it must put me on the top of the world.”
Meanwhile, the Naatu Naatu composer was awarded the Padma Shri- fourth-highest civilian award, by President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah also attended the ceremony and marked their presence.
