SSMB28: Mahesh Babu-Pooja Hegde’s film with Trivikram Srinivas goes on floors, Namrata Shirodkar attends the launch ceremony

Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde’s tentatively titled film SSMB28 has gone on floors today (February 3). The Telugu film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas. As the movie went on floors, there was a puja ceremony at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad. The event was graced by Pooja Hegde, Namrata Shirodkar, director Srinivas along with the cast and cast sans Mahesh Babu. The pics from the launch ceremony have gone viral. Both Pooja and Namrata shared the pics on their social media handles. Mahesh also shared a picture of the clapboard. The film will commence in April.

Namrata wished the team ‘good luck’ sharing the pics from the launch on her Instagram handle. She was in a purple suit with golden border and a golden colour dupatta while Pooja Hegde was in a bright pink ensemble.

Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas are collaborating for the third time with SSMB28. Earlier, they collaborated for two films – Athadu and Khaleja. Reportedly, Mahesh will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in this commercial entertainer.

The film is produced by Suryadevera Radhakrishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations, it will be presented by Smt Mamatha.

Mahesh Babu is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Written and directed by Parasuram Petla, the movie that was slated to release on April 1, will now hit the theatres on May 12.
