Sanjay Dutt was convicted by the TADA court for possession of illegal weapons, which was part of the consignment of weapons for 1993 Bombay serial blasts. Dutt had sought a review of the March 21 judgement upholding his conviction and five years jail.

As per sources,Sanju’s review plea will be taken up by Supreme Court today along with similar pleas made by six other convicts.A bench of P Sathasivam and BS Chauhan, which had delivered March 21 verdict, will take up the review plea in chamber.
Dutt has to be in jail for 42 months so that he can finish his sentence.
