Suriya 39: Superstar looks calm yet intense as lawyer in Jai Bhim’s first look poster

On the occasion of his 46th birthday today, actor Suriya has treated his fans with the first look poster of his upcoming movie Jai Bhim. The film was earlier tentatively titled Suriya 39. In the film, Suriya is playing the character of a lawyer as he could be seen wearing a black coat. In the poster, we see Suriya in a calm yet intense look and he will apparently fight for the rights and justice of the poor. Apart from Suriya, the film also stars Rajisha Vijayan and Prakash Raj. Written and directed by TS Gnanavel, Jai Bhim was shot in and around Chennai before the second wave of Covid-19. But the shoot was halted due to the lockdown.

Sharing the poster, Suriya wrote on Twitter, “Excited to share the First Look of #JaiBhim(sic)”.

Apart from acting, Suriya has also bankrolled the film under his production banner 2D Entertainment. The poster was released in other languages as well apart from Tamil. So, it will release in multiple languages. The release date is yet to be announced.

Fans are going crazy to see the first look poster of Jai Bhim which is Suriya 39th film. Yesterday, on the eve of Suriya’s birthday, the makers of his 40th film released the first look promo of his upcoming film Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The movie is directed by Pandiraj and it also has Priyanka Arul Mohan and Sathyaraj. Suriya will also be seen in Netflix’s Tamil anthology web series Navarasa and Vetri Maaran’s Vaadi Vaasal.
