There have been reports doing the rounds that veteran Telugu actor Chandramohan has taken retirement from acting. Also, there were fake news circulating about his ill-health. The actor who has acted in more than 900 films in his career span of 55 years has clarified all the rumors via a video.
In a video message, Chandramohan said, “I express my gratitude to everyone who wished me on my birthday. I am forever indebted to your affection. Of late there are rumours about my health. Please don’t believe them. I am healthy and doing fine”. His birthday was on May 23.
While sharing the video of Chandramohan, Tollywood PRO Vamsi Kaka tweeted, “Senior Actor #Chandramohan garu is completely fine. All the rumors about his health are false. Please stop speculating fake news”.

Chandramohan made his debut in 1966 with BN Reddy’s Rangula Ratnam. He worked till 2017. He worked in movies like Padaharella Vayausu, Chandamama Raave, Siri Siri Muvva, Radha Kalyanm, Athanokkade, Pakkinti Ammai, Moodu Mullu, Seethamahalakshmi, and Chinnodu Peddodu among others. He worked with Sridevi in Padaharella Vayasu (1978) for which he won the Filmfare Best Actor Award. He was last seen in the movie Oxygen in 2017.
