Beast: Thalapathy Vijay, Pooja Hegde starrer gets an OTT release date

Thalapathy Vijay and Pooja Hegde starrer Beast is all set to release on OTT. The film will stream on Netflix from May 11 onwards. Vijay and Pooja’s film released in theatres on April 13. It received mixed reviews by critics and audiences. The action flick did a decent business at the box-office as it faced a tough competition with Yash’s KGF Chapter 2. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Beast was released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Netflix India sharing the release date of Beast and wrote, “MAY YOUR DAY GET MEANER LEANER STRONGER ?Because Beast is coming to Netflix on 11th May in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi ?”

Talking about Beast box-office collection, reportedly, it grossed over Rs 240 crores worldwide. The film is set to become Vijay’s fourth film to collect 250 crores after Mersal, Sarkar and Bigil.

Beast is a hostage drama where Vijay plays a RAW officer, Veera Raghavan who is also among the hostages in a mall taken over by terrorists.

Apart from Vijay and Pooja, Beast also starres Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Ankur Vital, Sathish, Redin Kingsley, VTV Ganesh, and Aparna Das among others. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music of the film.

Talking about the Master actor, he is all set to make his debut in Telugu with a Tamil-Telugu bilingual produced by Dil Raju. The movie will be directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The actor had flown to Hyderabad recently. The Thalapathy 66 team have started shooting the second schedule in Hyderabad. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead opposite Vijay.
