Tughlaq Durbar Trailer: Vijay Sethupathi shines in this humorous political drama

Vijay Sethupathi starrer Tughlaq Durbar ‘s highly-anticipated trailer is out. In the trailer, we see that Sethupathi’s character is born to take care of the area which is now mired by politicians. We also get to know that Sethupathi plays a sidekick to a famous politician played by Parthiban and has both negative and positive shades. Sethupathi and Parthiban’s characters mock politicians in a subtle and quirky way. We have to appreciate Sethupathi’s unique and funny antics. Even the dialogues are very eccentric and humorous.

The film also stars Manjima Mohan and Raashi Khanna in pivotal roles. While Raashi is playing the role of Vijay Sethupathi’s love interest in the movie, Manjima, is playing the role of Vijay’ss sister. A few days ago, we reported that the movie will release on the OTT platform Netflix.

We also reported that before its release on the OTT platform, the movie will directly premiere on Sun TV on September 10. The political satire is all set to premiere at 6.30 PM. The Netflix release date is not yet revealed. For the unversed, the movie was supposed to hit the screens in May 2020 but the second wave of coronavirus pandemic changed the plans.

This Delhi Prasad Deenadayalan directorial is produced by Lalit Kumar for Seven Screen Studios. Talking about Sethupathi, he has several projects at various production stages. He has 19(1)(A) with Nithya Menen, a Bollywood debut movie called Mumbaikar. He also signed Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni in the Vignesh Shivan directorial Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal. And his another movie with Taapsee Pannu is titled Annabelle Sethupathi. He is also gearing up for Laabam’s release and recently signed a movie named Michael alongside Sundeep Kishan.
