Udta Punjab: Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have a message for their fans

Abhishek Chaubey’s forthcoming directorial, ‘Udta Punjab’s trailer has been much loved by fans. The movie that tackles the subject of drug abuse in Punjab, stars Shahid Kapoor as a rockstar Tommy, Alia Bhatt as a Bihari migrant, Kareena Kapoor Khan as a doctor and Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh as a police inspector. The films trailer that starts with a sentence that says “70% of Punjab youth are drug addicts. If this does not stop, Punjab will soon become like Mexico.” has garnered 5 million views online and still counting.

The good news was first shared by Balaji Motion Pictures that the trailer of ‘Udta Punjab’ has marked 5 million views online!
