Varun Dhawan denies the casting of Alia Bhatt in ‘Judwaa 2’

After ‘Student of the Year’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, the beautiful onscreen pair of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt are all geared up to team up for the third time in ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. But recently, according to a report in a leading magazine, Alia Bhatt was also roped in opposite Varun in his upcoming ‘Judwaa 2’. Well we burst your bubble, as Varun has clearly denied these reports of casting saying that he will announce the names soon.

Varun Dhawan has taken to Twitter posted, “We have not cast the actresses in #judwaa2. Sorry I had to stop your casting party. Will announce the names soon.” [sic]

‘Judwaa 2’ is directed by Varun’s father David Dhawan and it is the second instalment of the 1997 blockbuster movie ‘Judwaa’ which starred superstar Salman Khan playing a double role for the first time in his career. Co-incidently, Varun Dhawan will also be seen essaying a double role for the first time.
