When Varun Dhawan had to fight for his love

Newbie actor Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming romantic film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. It has Alia Bhatt whom the current hear-throb will be romancing in the movie. Well it so happened that at the trailer launch of the movie, Varun Dhawan made a startling confession. He revealed how he too had to fight for his love during his teenage days.

Varun Dhawan confessed, apparently during his college days he fell madly in love, his love for the girl reached such heights that he started dreaming of spending his life with her. To realize his dream he approached the girls father to receive his blessings, but sadly was rebuked by him. Varun then decided to be a true Bollywood hero and fight for love. But his plans were foiled by the girl, as she did not want to go against her father. Varun confessed sadly that it took him many years to forget her.

Sources further added that, Varun later tongue in cheek mentioned that the entire experience was a joke and said that he has never fought for any lady love.
