Vijay Deverakonda’s next with Puri Jagannadh titled JGM, check out poster and release date

Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh are collaborating for the second time after Liger. On Monday, the actor announced his next project as he shared a poster, which revealed that the film will be officially announced on Tuesday. As promised, Vijay has revealed the name of the film. It is titled JGM (Jana Gana Mana). Sharing the poster, Vijay also revealed the release date. It is releasing worldwide on August 3, 2023.

The film is said to be an actioner. Reportedly, Vijay is playing the role of a military man in Jana Gana Mana. As per a report in Mirchi9, the team has already finalised the location. The first schedule is said to take place in South Africa and the film will commence in April 2022.

Vijay is excited about JGM, as it is most striking and challenging script. “The story is special and it will touch every Indian.Honored to be a part of Puri’s dream project. My character is refreshing which I haven’t done earlier and I am sure it will leave an impact on the audiences”, he added.

JGM is poduced by Puri and Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally and Singa Rao of Srikara Studio.

Vijay is waiting for the release of his upcoming film Liger that also features Ananya Panday and professional boxer, Mike Tyson.
