Vijay Deverakonda shares first social media post after Liger debacle; fans say: Come back strong VD

Vijay Deverakonda sent fans into a frenzy as he shared an Instagram post for the first time. The actor who has been MIA since Liger debacle also hinted at emerging stronger. Vijay’s recent release Liger, turned out to be a disaster at the box office. Ever since, Vijay seemingly went on a social media hiatus.

The Geetha Govindam actor broke the silence by sending across a strong message. He shared a fabulous picture of himself looking dapper in an indo-western Jodhpuri style suit. But it was his caption that caught everyone’s attention.

Sharing the picture on Instagram the Rowdy star wrote, “Single Player” in the caption.

As soon as he sahred his first post on Instagram fans were quick to show their love and support to the actor. One wrote, “you will rise like a phoenix and fly like an eagle baby”, while another shared, “Doesn’t matter your movies are hit or flops. You’re only one”. A fan also called Vijay, “One man army”, while another encouraged him by writing, “Come back strong VD”.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh and co-produced by Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar, Liger starred actors Vijay, Ananya Panday and Ramya Krishnan in key roles. Reportedly the film failed at the box-office and managed to collect Rs 66.89 crore gross worldwide.

Vijay Deverakonda’s next film is Kushi along with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, it is expected to hit the theatres on December 23, 2022. Samantha and Vijay’s chemistry is awesome in the movie.

Vijay Deverakonda also had Jana Gana Mana in his kitty but it was recently reported that the movie has been shelved. However, Charmme Kaur dismissed all such reports and called it a rumour.
