Vijay Deverakonda promises to share VD11 ‘stunning’ first look on THIS date

Actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently shooting for his upcoming tentatively titled film VD11 in Kashmir. Samantha Ruth Prabhu who will star alongside Vijay is also there. On May 9, the heartthrob turned a year older and as it was a working birthday for the actor, he ringed in his special day on VD11 sets along with the team. Taking to his Twitter handle, the Arjun Reddy actor shared glimpse of his birthday celebration and also promised that he will share VD11 first look on May 16.

Shiva Nirvana has written and directed the film. VD11 is the second film of Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda after they appeared together in Mahanati.

It is said that after wrapping up the Kashmir schedule, the team of Vijay Deverakonda starrer will head to Hyderabad, Vizag and Alleppey for the remaining schedules. VD11 is touted to be a romantic family entertainer and is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The film also stars Jayaram, Sachin Khadekar, Murali Sharma, among others in pivotal roles.

Deverakonda is currently gearing up for the release of his pan-India film Liger which also stars Ananya Panday and boxing legend Mike Tyson. On his birthday, the makers unveiled a teaser of the film’s theme song.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger will release worldwide in theatres on August 25 2022. It will be released in Telugu Hindi Tamil Kannada and Malayalam.
