Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu’s new stills from Annabelle Sethupathi go VIRAL ahead of its first look

The first-look poster of Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu’s Annabelle Sethupathi will be unveiled today (August 26) at 5 pm. Vijay and Taapsee took to their social media handles to share the news with their fans. Reportedly, the film will directly premiere on Disney+Hotstar in September. Taapsee took to Twitter handle to share a photo of herself with her back facing the camera and wrote, “The next in line for 2021. #AnnabelleSethupathy Meeting you officially at 5pm today. #Tamil #Telugu #Hindi (sic).” Vijay also wrote, “#AnnabelleSethupathi first look today at 5pm (sic).”

Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu started shooting for the horror-comedy in 2020. It is directed by Deepak Sundarajan, who is the son of veteran director and actor Sundarrajan. Annabelle Sethupathi’s shooting was done in Jaipur and they wrapped up in less than a month.

Apart from Vijay Sethupathi and Taapsee Pannu, the movie also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, Devadarshini, Madhumita, Subbu Panchu, Yogi Babu and Rajendra Prasad. It was earlier slated to release in theatres. But, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the makers have decided to take the OTT route.

It is said that Taapsee is playing a city girl named Annabelle while Vijay Sethupathi who is also known as Makkal Selvan plays Subramaniam. Stay tuned for the official first-look poster.

Apart from Annabelle Sethupathi, Vijay will be seen in Vikram, Laabam, while Taapsee will be seen in Blurr, Dobaaraa, Looop Lapeta, Shabaash Mithu, Rashmi Rocket and several other films.
