Vikram and Dhruv starrer Chiyaan 60 is now titled Mahaan; teaser will leave you intrigued

On Friday (August 20), the makers of Chiyaan 60 unveiled the title and first-look poster of the Vikram starrer. The film is now titled Mahaan. It is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and also stars Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram, Simran, Vani Bhojan and Bobby Simha in pivotal roles. This is Vikram and his son Dhruv’s first collaboration where they will be sharing the same screen space together.

Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj shared the teaser of Mahaan on his Twitter handle.

In the teaser of Mahaan, we see folk theatre artistes applying their make-up on as they are all set to tell a mythological tale involving characters with supernatural powers. Then enters Vikram on a motorbike and he is seen carrying a prop behind his bike. It seems he is playing a mythical character with multiple arms. From the first look, we can assume that Vikram is someone with power and strength. The entire teaser is in black and white.

Mahaan is Chiyaan Vikram’s 60th film career and it’s a special film for him as he will be seen with his son.

Apart from Mahaan, Vikram has multiple projects in his kitty. He will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan that also has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayamram Ravi, Praksha Raj among others. Also, he has Ajay Gnanamuthu’s Cobra. Both the films are nearing completion. The movie is now being shot in Kolkata. The movie also stars Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, Miya George and KS Ravikumar among others.

Talking about Vikram’s son Dhruv, he has a film with director Mari Selvaraj. He will also be seen in Pa Ranjith’s next.
