Vikram First Look: Terrific trio Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil shine in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film

Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan has revealed the first look of his upcoming action-thriller Vikram. He shared a poster of the much-awaited film on his Twitter account on Saturday. Alongside the poster he wrote, “Only valour should wear the crown. I dare again to render before you the best of our talents. Like before, grant us victory!! Vikram ….விக்ரம் #Arambichitom @RKFI @Dir_Lokesh @VijaySethuOffl #FahadFaasil @anirudhofficial(sic).”

The film is being helmed by Master director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Apart from Haasan, the film also features two other mighty superstars of south Indian cinema- Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.

The monochrome photos of three actors are visible in the poster in the form of a collage. The three actors sport a rugged and intense look in the poster. Sharing the first-look poster, Lokesh quoted lines from the song ‘Vikram Vikram’, which was the title song of actor Kamal Haasan’s 1986 Tamil movie of the same name.

Fahadh Faasil, who is awaiting the release of Malayalam film Malik, will start shooting his portions soon. “I am eagerly awaiting to shoot with Kamal Haasan,” he told The Hindu recently. The film, which will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, is being produced by Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI). Interestingly, Vikram was also the title of a 1986 action adventure-film directed by Rajasekhar, starring Kamal Haasan and Sathyaraj, among others.

After the release of Vikram’s poster, fans have gone crazy and have started sharing their reactions on Twitter. The film’s title teaser was released on November 7, 2020. The film reportedly revolves around a cop who is on a mission to chase down a serial killer and his minions. The inclusion of stunt choreographer duo Anbariv (Anbumani and Arivumani) was also announced recently by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
