What! Fawad Khan was called by THIS name in his school days!

Actor Fawad Khan had a very interesting nickname in his school days. He was called a Burger Bachcha. Now, even though we may find this nickname amusing, the actor has to say otherwise.

According to him, the term ‘Burger Bachcha’ is a nickname given to somebody who is studying in an English medium school in Pakistan. He revealed to an entertainment daily, “It is actually a very demeaning term. I had this very heavy American accent. Like a Yankee accent. Then I saw a Bollywood award show where some poor expat was talking to a very big Bollywood celebrity in this accent. But the celeb took the p*** out of him because of his accent. That day I realised this can turn out to be terrible for me.”

In fact, he also revealed that coming from an engineering background, he never really aspired to enter the acting profession, but then he felt that he was a terrible engineer and acting was a way out to earn more money. At the moment, the actor is on a break to concentrate on the arrival of his second baby which is due in November. He was last seen in the movie ‘Kapoor & Sons’ that also starred Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
