Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 3 shoot won’t be starting ‘anytime soon’, says producer

Yash, Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon starrer KGF: Chapter 2 is ruling the box office. KGF producer Vijay Kiragandur recently shared details on the third part. He stated that KGF 3 will go on the floors by October-November this year. Now, Karthik Gowda has said that they have no plans to start KGF 3 ‘anytime soon’.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “The news doing the rounds are all speculation. With a lot of exciting projects ahead of us, we @hombalefilms will not be starting #KGF3 anytime soon. We will let you know with a bang when we start the work towards it.”

KGF producer Vijay in an interaction with Dainik Bhaskar had said, “Director Prashant Neel is currently busy with Salaar. Around 30-35% of the shooting is done. The next schedule is slated to begin next week. We hope to complete it by October-November this year. So, we plan to begin the shoot for KGF after October this year. We hope to release the film by 2024.”

He added, “Going forward, we are going to create a Marvel kind of universe. We want to bring different characters from different movies and create something like Doctor Strange. The way it happened in Spider Man Home Coming or Doctor Strange. So that we can reach a wider audience easily.”

Earlier, in an interview with Variety, Yash had revealed that he and director Prashanth Neel have already discussed the third installment.

Yash had said, “Already we have thought of a lot of scenes, me and Prashanth. There are a lot of things which we couldn’t do in Chapter 2. So we know there are a lot of possibilities, a lot of kick-a** scenes are there. But it’s just an idea. And we’ve just left it there right now.”
